LGCD — the operating system for Moroccan property managers

A Moroccan property manager runs on three systems that never talk to each other: listings on Airbnb and Booking, cleaning rotas on WhatsApp, accounting in a spreadsheet. The calendar is where it breaks — a night sold twice across two platforms ends in a cancellation, a penalty and a bad review. Two local constraints compound it: tourist tax and tourism promotion tax are computed per city and per night, and field staff have neither a work email address nor any appetite for desktop software.

A single platform where each agency is isolated by a scope applied at query level, never left to a developer's discretion. The calendar becomes the source of truth: two-way iCal synchronisation with Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO and Abritel catches conflicts before they turn into double bookings. Every agency gets its own booking site on a subdomain, or on its own domain through a simple CNAME. Five installable apps cover each role — agency, housekeeping, maintenance, owner, guest — with sign-in by WhatsApp number rather than email, because that is what the field actually uses. The guest app reads the MRZ strip of passports and identity cards to pre-fill the police form required in Morocco, and ships in French, English and Arabic. Payments run through CMI, the Moroccan banking gateway, with HMAC-SHA512 signatures. Local taxes are applied automatically from per-city rates. A REST API of 84 endpoints and some twenty webhook events finally open the platform to the systems agencies already run.

The platform is live at lgcd.ma. It covers 63 domain entities, 110 migrations and 89 automated test suites, with five installable apps and a documented public API. Calendar conflicts — the reason the project started — are caught at sync time and flagged before a booking is confirmed.
